Energy Saving Trust along with Transport Scotland and Scottish Enterprise are again sponsoring GreenFleet Scotland and Evolution at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston on Friday and Saturday 15th and 16th April.

GreenFleet Scotland on the Friday is very much focused at fleet managers, businesses and other transport professionals to keep them informed of the latest ultra-low emission vehicles – which includes all variants of plug-in cars and vans (pure electric, plug-in hybrids and range extended vehicles; the focus of Transport Scotland Switched on Scotland; a roadmap to widespread adoption of plug-in vehicles – where Transport Scotland want to decarbonised road transport. We have been associated with the event for a number of years and are keen to attract even more people who still need to use vehicles as a tool of their trade so that they can understand what range of cars and vans are available to them.

GreenFleet Scotland, on Friday, 15th April, is a mix of an indoor exhibition, topical seminars, outdoor test drives and a team event testing drivers’ knowledge how to get the best out of driving an electric vehicle.  There are other associated low carbon items running alongside this such as FuelGood driver training sessions that we will be running.

Evolution, on the Saturday, was added two years ago and its focus is very much public/consumer facing (so is a great opportunity to find out about how electric cars might suit personal lifestyles) and offers a lot of what happens on the Friday except for the seminars.

You can register for the events at http://events.greenfleet.net/scotland and http://scotland.evolutionshow.co.uk/
