The VIBES 2017 application process will commence on the 12th April.

To coincide with entries opening, there will be several launch events held across the country in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Ayr, Perthshire, The Scottish Borders, Stirling, Fort William, Inverness and Aberdeen. Register: www.vibesawards.eventbrite.co.uk

Businesses will have until 26th May to get their entries complete and submitted to vibes@sepa.org.uk

Applications must be submitted by 5pm on this date. The deadline will not be extended and late entries will not be accepted.

First Judging Panel Meeting

First Judging Panel Meeting

All the applications will be collated and sent to the VIBES judging subgroup. Individual entries will be discussed by our panel of experts. A shortlist of business will be identified and these businesses will be invited to provide further information.

Additional Information Deadline

30th June

Additional Information Deadline

Businesses will have until 30th June to get their additional information submitted to vibes@sepa.org.uk

Second Judging Panel Meeting

19th – 20th July

Second Judging Panel Meeting

All additional information will be collated and sent to the VIBES judging subgroup. Individual entries will be discussed by our panel of experts. They will come to the decision over which businesses will go forward to the next round of the application process.

Judging Site Visits

August - September

Judging Site Visits

Three experienced judges, selected by the judging subgroup, will visit each of the entries who made it through the second round of the application process. Applicants will have the opportunity to demonstrate first-hand what they've done to deserve recognition from VIBES. Judges will feedback to the panel with their findings.

Final Panel Judges Meeting

18th October

Final Panel Judges Meeting

The final selection of applicants will be made by a panel consisting of:

Bob Downes (SEPA Chairman)
Lady Susan Rice (Chair of Scottish Water)
Lorne Crerar (Highlands and Islands Enterprise Chairman)

Final judging will be based on the application and additional information gathered at site visits.

VIBES Award Ceremony

VIBES Award Ceremony

The prestigious VIBES Award Ceremony will be taking place in Edinburgh this year. Awards will be presented by individual sponsors and lunch will be served. Not an event to be missed!
